Soil analysis white rot

Preventive soil sampling.

White rot is a fungal disease caused by Sclerotium cepivorum. The sclerotia of this mould can survive in the soil for up to 15 years, leading invariably to infection. Preventive soil sampling can prevent many problems.

HLB carries out this preventive research through molecular research (PCR). DNA can be used to determine with certainty which mould is present.

Sampling can be combined with stemnematode. HLB is certified to perform official stemnematode/white rot.
